Mission Statement

In February, 2008, The TMS Board made a decision to revise the mission statement.

The objective was to accurately convey our mission while retaining a style
demonstrated by similar non-profit organizations. The new statement is as follows:

The Mastocytosis Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting
patients affected by Mastocytosis/ Mast Cell Activation Disorders as well as their
families, caregivers, and physicians through research, education, and advocacy.
