Submissions for Panel Discussion Questions for the 2007 Annual Meeting in Texas

August 2, 2007

Summer greetings! We have had a change in the format of the questions for the panel discussion at the request of one of the panel participants.

Our expert panel members feel that they could give us more valuable answers if they had more information and background.

In order to accurately answer your question, please provide the following info when emailing your question to me:

When I forward the questions in advance to the physicians, they will protect your identity by not using your name, and will read something like this:

46 yo M, diagnosed 6 years ago with SM by bone marrow biopsy(BMB) at MAYO clinic, tryptase <20, positive c-kit, osteoporosis by bone scan.

At this point, I do not plan to read out the history of each patient aloud as I post the question, although that is subject to change based on the physicians' preference. Instead, I plan to print it out in the written form of the panel discussion that is provided to attendees, so you can follow along and see what info was given to the doctors as they interpreted the information.

If you decline to provide the information, you may still pose the question to the panel, I I will note that no further info was provided. By providing the info and submitting it to us to use in the panel discussion, which will be videotaped and reproduced on DVD, you are, of course, agreeing to let your information, minus your name, be shared with other interested parties.

Please note: Anyone that have already submitted questions: Please resubmit your questions with the above info so that your question can be given the attention that it deserves. If you cannot find your question, but know that you have submitted one, then please email me with your additional info, and I will try and match it up with the panel questions I have received, and will email it back to you to confirm that it is correct!

Everyone--please get your panel discussion questions in to me as soon as possible so that I can begin organizing them and preparing them to be sent to the panel experts! Thank you! Val
