Announcing the 2008 TMS Nominating Committee

(March 29, 2008) It is with great excitement that TMS once again has a Nominating Committee in place. For the 2008 election year there are two positions to be filled and always a need for more help in our work.
Please contact anyone on the Nominating Committee by June 1, 2008, if you wish to have your name placed on the ballot for the upcoming elections.
We are requesting that persons be in good standing with TMS membership for at least one year. There is a three-year required term, for which one would be elected to a slate of officers. We have monthly board meetings, via teleconference, on the first Wednesday of each month, with additional meetings called as needed. It would also be very helpful to have email access and the ability to answer emails within a 48-hour time frame.
Our Nominating Committee will be looking for those who have both an orientation towards teamwork and leadership skills. One needs to be willing to embrace change, work through our visions and goals, and adhere to our TMS Mission Statement and TMS bylaws. We look forward to hearing from you.
