Register Now for the 2008 TMS Conference in Minnesota!

(June 19, 2008, Corrected 6/27/08) Use this form to register by mail for the 2008 TMS Annual Conference, which will be held this year in West Bloomington, Minnesota, hosted by the Minnesota and North Central Support Groups.

If you register before September 1, 2008, you will automatically be entered in the Early Bird Drawing for free admission to to this year's (2008 Minnesota) conference.

Early registration rates, which will be in effect only until October 1st, 2008, will be $125.00 per person for members of TMS and $150.00 per person for non-members. And remember that if a family has one member who is a TMS member, the entire immediate family may register at the members-only price.

Registrations received after October 1st will be charged at the same rate as walk-ins who register at the conference. On-site registrations will cost $160.00 per person for TMS members and $185.00 per person for non-TMS members.

While the cost of gasoline and groceries are rapidly increasing, the cost to register for this year's conference is the same as for last year's conference in Texas, which makes it a real bargain!

2008 TMS Conference Planning in Full Swing

(June 21, 2009) Conference Chair Mishele Cunningham reports that members of the Minnesota and North Central Support groups are hard at work putting together a terrific program for this fall's TMS gathering.

Plus, of course, there will be even more members of the Minnesota and North Central Support Groups who will be volunteering time at the conference and walk-a-thon.

The mail-in registration form is now up on the Web site, and Hilton has a Web site is set up for booking rooms. As always, registering and booking accommodations as soon as is possible helps to ensure that everyone who wants to attend will be able to do so.

TMS Board member Wanda Hermann travelled all the way from Texas for the last North Central group meeting, and Mishele reports that she's been a huge help. She is also extremely grateful for the many hours that TMS Co-Chair Val Slee has put into helping line up doctors to attend and present at the conference.

Anyone who has a gift basket or other donation for the Conference should contact Mishele. Also, we are still looking for corporate sponsors. If there is anyone out there who might be able to help encourage another corporate sponsor, that would be a huge help.

Hilton Provides Special Web Page for TMS Conference Registration

(May 9, 2008) Planners for the 2008 TMS Conference in Minnesota today announced that the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington Hotel has created a special Web page, that we can use to register for rooms for the conference at the special rate of $99.00 per night for a room with either two double beds or one king bed.

Minnesota Support Group member Mishele Cunningham noted that the reason for "extra" days before and after the conference was to ensure that anyone who wishes to get the special conference room rate for a longer visit will be able to do so. More Details about 2008 TMS Conference Announced

(May 8, 2008) Planning is proceeding for this year's TMS Annual Conference, which will be held Thursday, October 16, through Sunday, October 19, 2008, at the Hilton Minneapolis/ Bloomington Hotel, which is located at 3900 American Boulevard in West Bloomington, Minnesota 55437. The hotel's telephone number is 952.893.9500. Reservations will be able to be made via the Web, and rooms will cost $99.00 per night.

The conference, which will be hosted by the Minnesota and North Central Support Groups, will start on Thursday evening, October 16th, with the walk-a-thon and will end Sunday morning, October 19th. More information will be available soon!

2008 TMS Conference Site Announced

(January 2008) TMS is pleased to announce that this year’s annual meeting will be held on October 16 – 19, 2008, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It will be hosted by the Minnesota and North Central Support Groups, and a Second Annual Walkathon is tentatively scheduled for October 16th. Stay tuned for more details!
